Tennis Center

The Tennis Club offers the most complete and the largest tennis facility in the Caribbean. Palmas is a tennis lover's dream with 20 courts; 2 artificial grass courts, 4 Har-Tru clay courts and 14 hard courts, many of which are lighted for night play.  Our club is well known as one of the most prestigious and active Tennis clubs in Puerto Rico and hosts many local and regional tournaments. Also the Club presented the first USTA Tennis Challenger event in Puerto Rico in 2006.

At the core of the tennis facility is a full-service pro shop, whose windows overlook an exhibition hard court. To one side is a patio shaded by an overarching banyan tree and anchored by an outdoor bar called the Center Court Bar & Grill. The tennis facility occupies a prominent place in the resort, a ten-minute walk from the beach and the Wyndham Garden Hotel.

The director of Tennis Programs, Jorge Gonzalez, is also president of Advance Tennis Academy (ATA), a corporation whose philosophy is to provide the highest quality service to its customers which allows the members and guests to have a great tennis experience.

At the club we offer activities for the whole family, that include  daily tennis clinics (24 hours in advance sign-up) for tennis players of all levels, cardio tennis workout sessions, private lessons, and a very complete and successful program for kids and juniors from 3-18 years old. We also have available services such as stringing, player match ups, and ball machines.
